Officers went to a home because of a disturbance. Ryan Koontz was reportedly on drugs and suicidal, and allegedly started shooting at police with a semiautomatic pistol before they got in the house. Koontz made a break for it in a car, chasing an officer across a neighbor's lawn in the car. He got out of the car and he was shot and killed.
