William McKnight and two accomplices robbed a bank, but the FBI Safe Streets Task Force were nearby. Authorities went after the other, resulting in a chase. The car stopped briefly to let McKnight out and then drove off. McKnight allegedly refused repeated orders to put down his gun, and was shot and killed.
