Deputies were called when Matthew Scott Wiese violated a protection order for his ex-wife. Deputies encountered Wiese at another residence, where he was setting of fireworks in the streets. He shot fireworks at the police, then entered a nearby motorhome and came out brandishing a gun. The deputies shot and killed him.
