Deadly force
A state trooper responding to a suspicious man at an intersection encountered an allegedly intoxicated Randy Baldwin passed out on the street. The trooper placed Baldwin in the cruiser and was transporting him to jail when Baldwin told the trooper he had a gun and to pull over and let him go or he'd kill him. The trooper pulled over and attempted to disarm Baldwin. In the ensuing struggle the trooper shot Baldwin once in the chest, killing him.
