Deadly force
A deputy responding to a domestic violence call encountered Blake Allen Barbour in the backyard of his home. Barbour advanced on the deputy and the deputy tasered him two times to no effect. Barbour threw a chair at the deputy. The deputy drew his baton, but Barbour took it from him. When Barbour continued to advance, the deputy shot and killed him. Prosecutors cleared the officer of any wrongdoing in February 2014.
