Deadly force
Police responding to reports of a domestic dispute arrived to find Bendas standing in the street, holding a handgun. After failing to drop the weapon, officers fired on Bendas, who was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation showed that Bendas had a replica gun that fires Airsoft BBs.
