A Nolan County deputy confronted Flores, who was driving a reportedly-stolen 2000 Chevrolet Camaro. Flores drove away. Sweetwater officers pursued, but pulled away as Flores accelerated to over 100 mph. Flores lost control on Avenue A and crashed fatally into a tree.
