Less-than-lethal force

Police said Klessig was uncooperative when a University Park officer found him and attempted to talk with him. Four other officers were called to the scene. Police said Klessig again became physically confrontational when officers attempted to restrain him. During the scuffle, officers used pepper spray. Klessig became unresponsive and was given CPR. He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
