Deadly force

Lamar County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to disturbance regarding a man with a gun at a residence.When deputies arrived they made contact with the female homeowner at the front door who said that there was a man with a gun inside. Deputies removed the woman from the residence and were told that her child was still inside. Deputies then were confronted by an armed man who started shooting at the deputies. The deputies engaged him outside the residence and he was shot and died of gunshot wounds on scene.
