Officials say McGee, along with his passenger, 19-year-old Robert Aspiranti were approached by deputies with the Madison County Sheriff's Office in the parking lot of 18 Three Way Lane. According to TBI Public Information Officer Susan Niland, they were individuals they wanted to speak with regarding an ongoing investigation. McGee drove in the general direction of the officers. The deputy shot and killed McGee. Police alleged vehicular assault.
