Vang led officers on a 200 mile car chase from California into Nevada. When officers caught up with him, they boxed his car in. Vang ignored warnings to stop and deliberately acclerated in reverse ramming his car into a Highway Patrol other. The officer fired one shot, Vang later died in the hospital.
