At around 6 p.m. a deputy saw a Ford Ranger pickup truck suspected in an earlier hit-and-run at a gas station in Waverly. The driver, Willy Timmerman allegedly wouldn't stop and a chase ensued. Timmerman drove into the Greenwood Cemetery where officers from several agencies reportedly tried to get him to exit the other before LCSD deputies broke a window in the truck and found Timmerman dead from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
