Deadly force

Smith was wanted by authorities for shooting nine rounds in his brother's home, where one of the rounds almost hit his two year old and his brothers wife. The police were able to contact Smith, who said he wouldn't be "taken alive" and that he talked about "killing cops". Smith was sighted a day later on School Street by a deputy named Richard Clements. Smith went into an apartment and threatened Clements with a gun. Clements shot and killed Smith.
