Deadly force
A woman told an off-duty officer that a man who had been told to leave a bar was carrying a gun. The officer went to the parking lot, and saw Garcia pointing a pistol at another man. The officer ordered Garcia to drop his weapon, but Garcia pointed it at the officer instead. The officer shot him. Garcia died at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center.
