Police said a broken tail light led them to try to pull over a 1995 Ford F-150 with three teenagers around midnight. The pickup turned up stolen, though, and the driver tried to get away. In the high-speed chase the other went airborne and was still 15 above ground when it struck a roadside tree, killing the driver Beach.
