At Rest

No
Responding to a suicide call, Officers H. Tran, C. Farmer, K. Tabora and C. Holloway found Gaubatz behaving erratically and covered in feces. Though she denied that she was high, Sergeant P. Terry and Officer S. Lopez took Gaubatz to Southeast Jail to be booked for public intoxication. When they arrived at the jail, Gaubatz had passed out. She was pronounced dead at Ben Taub Hospital.
This record exists so that Jami Gaubatz, and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
