A person released on parole was shot and killed by authorities after he emerged from his pickup following a brief pursuit and pointed a gun at law enforcement. Authorities attempted to pull him over, but the parolee sped off; police only chased after him for a short distance before he crashed into a fence then exited his other while pointing a gun at police. There was a brief standoff before he was shot and killed.
