Jeremy Mardis was a passenger in a car driven by his father, Chris Few. Initial reports suggested that Few had backed his car into officers' cars while officers were trying to serve a warrant, and the officers fired, killing Mardis. Police later said there is no evidence of a warrant for Few, who was unarmed and was also struck but is reportedly in stable condition. Two officers involved in the shooting, Norris Greenhouse Jr and Derrick Stafford, were charged with second-degree murder.
