Details are limited on why the chase started but it began in Jal, New Mexico, and ended on State Highway 115 near Wink, Texas. Police say they put out spikes which stopped Fernando Sauceda's car. They say Sauceda advanced upon officers officers while armed with a gun, and a Jal police officer shot and killed him.
