Bearden, 29, was shot Wednesday during an altercation in the parking lot of the Texas Road House. Police said Bearden was shot while deputies were trying to arrest him. Bearden's other crashed into the deputy's other and he tried to run, according to TBI. Officials say preliminary information indicates Bearden pulled out a gun in the deputy's direction, and the deputy shot and killed him.
