Suicide
Harris slapped his common-law wife at their residence and threatened to shoot her and commit suicide. She left the house with her children. Officer E. Perez responded. Harris barricaded himself into the house. SWAT responded. After some hours of negotiation, Harris shot at himself twice, striking himself once in the head.
