About 12:30 p.m., several victims reported their wallets were stolen at gunpoint at a parking lot. The victims gave police a description of the suspect and the other they got away in. About 1 p.m., deputies stopped a other matching that description about seven miles away near U.S. 17-92 and Firehouse Road. Deputies said the driver complied with commands. Donald Edward Brown III, who was in the passenger seat, did not comply. Brown allegedly got out of the other as he was told but would not show his hands. Three deputies shot and killed Brown. Deputies reportedly found a knife in Brown's hand.
