Suicide

Officers had initially been called to the home after receiving reports of child sexual assault and aggravated assault involving a firearm. "The complainant reported that a male had drugged and sexually assaulted a teenage female inside the house," police said. "When confronted with the evidence of this, the male pulled a gun on two occupants. An adult female, two teenagers and one 5-year old child safely evacuated from the residence." Veyette remained inside the home. When police located Veyette's remains, he had apparently shot and killed himself.
