Police said that officers were responding to reports of a fight taking place in the parking lot of a Dunkin Donuts. When officers arrived, they say a motorcyclist took off from the scene at a high rate of speed. Police say a helicopter followed the motorcyclist as the rider headed southbound on Swan Road. An officer was making a u-turn when the motorcyclist crashed into his patrol car, killing the motorcyclist.
