Deputies responded to calls of a suspicious other near the Putnam PSD Water Plant. According to police, a deputy pulled over a other, and three people got out and ran in different directions. A Putnam County deputy chased one of the men, Joshua Allen Perry, into Hometown, where he reportedly pointed a gun at the deputy. The deputy shot and killed him.
