Deadly force
A chase started when its deputies tried to carry out a traffic stop. Ivory Pantallion refused to pull over, however, and police chased him westbound into Chambers County and then Baytown. Once in Baytown, deputies say he drove in the direction of an officer who was trying to set up a spike strip to stop the speeding SUV. Police immobilized the other. Pantallion then allegedly exchanged gunfire with police and was killed.
