Suicide

According to deputies, the encounter started with a "well-being check," prompted by family members who were concerned about a woman's mental state. When deputies arrived and approached the front door, she fired a gun inside the house hitting a wall close to where the deputies were standing. Deputies used loudspeakers to negotiate with the woman. After hours of talking, the woman started a fire in her bedroom. As deputies approached the house, the woman shot and killed herself.
