Police said someone called Sparks Police reporting a person in a car, armed with a long-barreled weapon and making suicidal statements. Police contained the area and started speaking with the person in the car. After about an hour of conversation, officers reported hearing a gunshot from the car, and police approached the car and were unable to get the dead person to respond.
