Police responded to a call from a resident who said a man was trying to take items from their home, along with their car. When police arrived on scene, they saw a car crashed through the door of a garage and was stuck in the yard. Chief Smith says one officer tried to remove Isaiah Tucker when he drove in the general direction of the other officer, Aaron Achterberg, who opened fire, killing him. Police alleged vehicular assault.
