Suicide

Randy Davis had holed up in his home after allegedly attacking his wife and threatening her with a gun, police said. The woman was able to escape the home. Davis made homicidal and suicidal threats when officers arrived and tried to get him to come out of the home. Unified police confirmed just after noon that Davis was in custody and shortly later gave an update that he had died from a self-inflicted gunshot.
