Less-than-lethal force
Around 3 a.m., when the driver of a white Dodge Caravan sped past a Cobb County Police officer in a marked patrol car, police said. The officer attempted a traffic stop, but the driver of the Dodge Caravan crashed, hitting another car. Officers tried to arrest the driver of the Caravan, but said he became combative. During the confrontation, one officer shocked him with his Taser, killing him.
