Officers Matthew Johnson and Joshua Deutinger were dispatched to Pacheco Road on a disturbance call that included a man with a gun. The Bakersfield Police Department said the officers made contact with Isaac Cervantes, and Cervantes was killed during an exchange of gunfire.
