Police got a shoplifting call from the Home Depot. The man fled the store at about 8 a.m., police said. Vincent Dronet was driving a maroon Dodge Ram pickup, and officers tried to pull him over for a traffic stop, but he fled. He was stopped, and there was an altercation, and officers attempted to use a stun gun on him. He fled again, drove in the general direction of a police other, and was shot and killed. Police alleged vehicular assault.
