A resident on Garden Circle Way reported seeing a prowler at 1:46 a.m., police said. When officers arrived, they found the suspect in the backyard of a home holding a hammer, police said. The person advanced at the officers wielding the weapon, and they shot and killed Victor Gonzalez Gonzalez.
