A Wynne police officer saw Halk allegedly driving recklessly around 8:45 p.m. The officer got behind Mark Halk's other and tried to pull him over, but Halk continued to drive recklessly and did not stop for officers. He did not stop at a red light at an intersection and hit a truck and utility pole, killing him.
