Deadly force
Arther McAfee Jr. died after a welfare check at his rural home turned violent. His sister called 911, said he has a mental disability, and a deputy arrived about 10:30 a.m. She let the deputy inside the house. McAfee came out of his bedroom, fighting, and the deputy used a stun gun on him. McAfee gained possession of the stun gun, and the deputy shot and killed him.
