Deputies responded at 11:40 a.m. on a report of a suspicious man. At 11:55 a.m., the sheriff's office received a report of a man brandishing a firearm, police said. A deputy contacted the armed man, and the man was shot and killed. Early reports said the man had been involved in several crimes and had pointed a gun at police.
