Police said that officers were dispatched around 9:30 p.m. on the report of a domestic violence complaint. When officers arrived, they were told Steven Tyler Reed fled to Letchworth Avenue. Reed and the officers became involved in a confrontation, and Officer Nathan A. Schwind shot and killed Reed.
