Leonard Frederick Wake barricaded himself into his Glenrock home, prompting a six-hour standoff, police said. Glenrock police responded to Wake's house just after noon after receiving reports that he was brandishing a weapon. At one point, Wake opened fire on officers as they tried to talk with him. He was found dead later of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot.
