Timothy Wyatt was believed to have shot and killed his girlfriend and wounded her two juvenile sons. Tampa police found Wyatt's other, a white Chevy Impala, and started trailing him. When Wyatt realized he was being followed, he allegedly started shooting at police, then led officers on a brief pursuit. The chase ended when Wyatt abandoned his other and tried to carjack a bystander. Police and Wyatt exchanged gunfire, and he was shot and killed.
