Officers were driving near Corbin Avenue and Hamlin Street at about 10 a.m. when they got a "LoJack hit" alerting them that a other was stolen, police said. They pursued the other for about seven minutes, then chased the driver on foot after he bailed from the other. He was shot and killed, although the details as to what precipitated the killing were withheld by police.
