Deadly force
Police responded to an allegedly violent domestic disturbance. The man had allegedly assaulted a woman, and there was a child inside. Police said Michael E. Hutchman would not let the woman and child leave. Hutchman came out of the house and made contact with the officers, and he was shot and killed, although details as to what precipitated the killing were withheld by police.
