Deadly force
Deputies were called at 12:53 p.m. in reference to a man who had violated his drug-offender probation. The man fled as deputies and a probation officer arrived to arrest him. Police said the man ran into a wooded area behind the property. When he was approached by deputies, the man was uncooperative and then confronted them. One of the deputies shot and killed him.
