Police reportedly spotted 37-year-old Alberto Gonzales driving a gray Dodge Intrepid lacking license plates. They attempted to pull Gonzales over but he fled at high speed. Police called off the pursuit, but seconds later Gonzales ran a red light and collided with another car driven by a 60-year-old man. The impact killed a female passenger, age 61 and injured the driver and another passenger, age 62. Police have not named the victims. Gonzales faces charges of vehicular homicide DUI; vehicular eluding resulting in death; leaving the scene of an accident and driving under restraint.
