About 8:45 a.m., agents investigating cocaine distribution saw an alleged exchange of packages and tried to pull over one of the vehicles involved in the handoff. Gus Tousis fled, and agents activated their lights and sirens and again tried to stop the other on Central Avenue, where Tousis allegedly turned his other and struck one of the agents, who shot and killed him.
