Shamir Deangelo Terry allegedly entered a Circle K and walked up to an employee while pointing a handgun at them. Terry became frustrated with the employee and fired a shot in the store before taking an undisclosed amount of money and running off in the direction of the Applebee's on Riverside. A deputy was driving through the parking lot of Applebee's when a witness flagged them down and told them about the robbery. After a brief foot chase, Terry allegedly pulled out a gun and pointed it toward the deputies, who shot and killed him.
