A woman called police to inform them Jimmy Lee Cordova, 28, was assaulting her in a moving automobile and gave the location. When police caught up to them, Cordova fled at high speed. Police lost sight of Cordova who crashed moments later, killing his passenger, Kimberly Sue Ambrose, 51. Cordova carjacked a second other and crashed it. He fought with police as he attempted to carjack a third other. He faces 18 charges, including first-degree murder, vehicular homicide, kidnapping, robbery and domestic violence.
