At approximately 7:12 p.m., uniformed patrol officers saw a person they believed to be in possession of a firearm. He ran away from the officers and into an alley. The officers chased him, and he allegedly produced a firearm and shot at the pursuing officers. The officers shot and killed Marqueese Alston.
