Suicide
A woman called police to report a domestic assault about 8 a.m. She went to the police station where officers saw abrasions on her neck and learned she had been strangled. Police obtained a search warrant and a felony warrant for assault to do great bodily harm less than murder, along with a misdemeanor warrant for domestic violence. Officers went to the house to try to make contact with the 35-year-old man. There was no response, but police heard a single gunshot.
