The family of Eric Hash called 911 because an allegedly drunken Hash was destroying property and threatening violence. An Alaska state trooper encountered Hash outside holding a can of charcoal lighter fluid. Fearing for his life over the can of flammable liquid, the trooper shot and killed Hash.
